Adobe’s 2025 Holiday Shopping Report shows the season is on track to become the first quarter-trillion-dollar online holiday, with forecast spend of $253.4 billion from November 1 to December 31, up 5.3% year over year. Mobile has firmly taken the lead in e-commerce, with 2025 expected to be the first full year where mobile accounts for more than half of online spend and a projected 56.1% of holiday revenue. Adobe also notes that 7 in 10 retail site visits will occur on mobile devices, emphasizing just how central phones and tablets have become in digital shopping behavior.
