Cybercriminals are abusing an AI-powered site builder called Lovable to quickly spin up convincing fake websites that steal passwords, payment details, and even cryptocurrency. Proofpoint researchers have spotted tens of thousands of malicious Lovable URLs each month, with scams impersonating companies like Microsoft, UPS, and major banks. While Lovable has started adding new security checks, experts warn the platform shows how AI is lowering the bar for digital crime.
